This monstrous carbuncle has just one pod bay, a nod towards its industrial freighter origins and sometimes used as cover for ambiguous intentions.

The London is the most powerful of the IMT "converted freighter" lineage. This "freighter" is so reassuringly well built and impressively defended that alien crewmen sometimes sign on to join the crew. Or maybe it's just that the Siren HAARP device plants subliminal adverts in the holovision transmissions of local stations.

It tends to be a bit short of power for 5 large weapons. On the plus side, it is more massive than most tech 6 hulls, so can absorb a fair bit of damage.

Internal IMT company lore maintains that the London is inspired by the Fed Nebula - with extra mass and a different emphasis. Girders and angle grinders were added to avoid an intellectual property rights dispute. Other sources, close to the Design Bureau, claim that to be nonsense and that the London is a pure one-off design.
