Protein Scoop

The Sloane 24x24 Ranger is the basic IMT work gang transport. Its origins as a pure transport mean that it has limited weaponry and is very poor in combat with mechs and fighters. However against natives, colonists, crew and troops it has a special advantage: the Protein Scoop. This evil device, manufactured by IMT riot control  subsidiary Solent Green Ltd in England, allows the Sloane to scoop up lifeforms outside bases and process them as food at a local IMT base. This is not ethical but the Chups never complain. Defeated lifeforms are converted to food at the rate of TBA to one food unit.

The Bushwacker Fighting Vehicle is the IMT dedicated warrior mech. Designed by Tarquin "Ned" Kelly at IMTs Brisbane labs it is designed to do unto others before they have a chance to do unto IMT. It was supposed to be a mixed role ground and anti-air unit however the cheap missiles selected by the management team mean it worked out much better in the ground role. This mech is usually found in groups escorting Sloane Rangers.

Mining

The Diller Killer is a specialised mech with the job of stripping the minerals from a planetary crust without having to make a base and settling in. Simply drop a squadron of them by assault pod and recover them later plus the minerals and ore sitting on the planetary surface. They are banned in over seventy jurisdictions across the Milky Way Galaxy alone. The DK can operate on the surface when fighting against ground troops or mechs, though this is not really what it does best. When mining it operates 90% under the surface for maximum procesing efficiency.
